Privacy Policy | Solomon Snobs Digital

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Solomon Snobs collects through solomonsnobs.com and in the course of our work, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) issued under it.

We hold every marketing claim we make to a written standard. We hold this policy to the same one: if anything here stops being true, we change the policy, not the facts.

1. Who we are

Solomon Snobs is the trading name of Solomon Snobs Digital Limited (RC 6983089), a digital marketing and AI automation agency based at Hughes Avenue, Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. For the personal data described in this policy, Solomon Snobs Digital Limited is the data controller.

For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, email [email protected] with “Data request” in the subject line. Our data protection contact is Elder ID Akhigbe, Founder and Lead Strategist.

2. What we collect

What you give us through our forms and checkout.

  • Free diagnostic: your answers to ten questions about your marketing (including your approximate monthly marketing spend and your biggest frustration), your first name, phone number, work email, company name and company website, and whether you agreed to hear from us by email and WhatsApp.
  • Free Leak Check: if you qualify and ask for one, we review what anyone can see about your business from outside it, such as your website, whether common tracking tags are installed, how your forms and WhatsApp links work, your Google Business Profile, and what search engines and AI assistants say about your category. We do not access your accounts for a Leak Check. If that public information includes personal data (for example a named contact on your website), we use it only to prepare your findings. We also keep our notes and the findings we give you.
  • Maze Map: when you buy, we collect your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, business name and website, and your agreement to our fit guarantee terms. You pay on Paystack’s secure checkout. Paystack collects your payment details; we receive confirmation of payment, the amount and a transaction reference, and we never see or store your card details. During the audit, with your permission, we are given read-only access to your ad accounts, analytics and sales records.
  • AI automation fit assessment: the task or process you want to automate, how often it happens, who does it today, the tools you use, the time and cost involved, your rough budget, your name, email, business name, website and WhatsApp number.
  • Contact form: your name, work email, company, monthly marketing spend bracket and your message.
  • Short website forms: your company website address, so we know which business your request is about.

What you send us directly. The content of emails and WhatsApp messages you send us, and anything you share in calls or meetings.

What we record automatically. When you submit a form we record the date and time, and, where present, the campaign source of the link that brought you to us (UTM tags). Like every website, our servers and our security provider process your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages and block malicious traffic. If you accept analytics or marketing cookies, we also collect how you use the site (pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, device and approximate location) through the tools listed in section 4. Even if you decline, Google Analytics receives a basic cookie-free page-view signal (see section 4).

What we work out from your answers. The diagnostic scores your answers to produce a score for each of our four walls (Measure, Convert, Retain, Attract) and a spend band. Section 5 explains how that is used.

Client work and Maze Map audits. When you become a client, or when we are given read-only access during a Maze Map, we may process data you give us access to, such as customer lists, CRM records, analytics and ad accounts. For that data you remain the controller and we act as your processor, under the terms of our written agreement with you.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive personal data such as health, religious or financial account information.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To deliver what you asked for (your diagnostic result, your Leak Check, your Maze Map, a reply to your message or an assessment of your automation request). Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing that contract.
  • To take and record your Maze Map payment and issue receipts. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and complying with our legal obligations, including tax and accounting law.
  • To follow up about your results and send relevant insights by email and WhatsApp. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 9).
  • To run our client engagements, invoice and keep business records. Legal basis: performing our contract with you and complying with our legal obligations.
  • To keep the website secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure business, balanced against your rights.
  • To understand how the site is used, improve it, measure which campaigns bring enquiries and show our ads to people who have visited it. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time (see section 4).

We do not sell your personal data. We do not upload your form answers or contact details to advertising platforms. If you accept marketing cookies, Meta may use the visit data from our site to measure our ads and show them to people who have visited it.

4. Cookies

When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics and marketing cookies. We set nothing beyond the necessary cookies until you choose. You can accept, decline or change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link on the site, and declining does not stop you using the site.

  • Necessary: cookies that run and secure the site, and remember your cookie choice. These are always on.
  • Analytics (cookies only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 (Google) counts visits and shows which pages and campaigns work. If you decline, Google Analytics sets no analytics cookies and no persistent identifier, but it still receives a basic page-view signal (the page address and title, your browser and device type, and your IP address, which Google uses to estimate approximate location). Google uses these signals to estimate overall traffic. Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) records anonymised sessions and heatmaps so we can see where visitors get stuck. We configure Clarity to mask what you type into forms.
  • Marketing (only with your consent): the Meta Pixel (Meta) measures our ads and lets us show them to people who have visited the site.

These providers receive your IP address and device and visit data, and they may process it outside Nigeria (see section 7). Each acts under its own privacy policy as well as ours. If you decline, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel do not load, and Google Analytics works only as described above.

5. Automated scoring

Our diagnostic scores your answers automatically. Your score and spend band decide which result you see and whether you are offered a free Leak Check, which is for businesses spending ₦1M or more per month on marketing. If you think your result is wrong, or you want a person to review it, reply to your result email and a member of our team will look at your answers and respond.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as each one needs. They process it on our instructions and must keep it secure.

  • Paystack, which processes Maze Map payments on its secure checkout and holds your payment details under its own privacy policy.
  • Our website hosting provider, which stores the website and form submissions.
  • Cloudflare, which delivers the website and protects it from malicious traffic.
  • Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES), which delivers the emails our website sends.
  • Our customer relationship management and email marketing systems, where we keep enquiry records and send the insights you opted into.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us on WhatsApp or agree to hear from us there.
  • Google (Google Analytics), which receives a basic cookie-free page-view signal even if you decline analytics cookies, and full visit data if you accept; Microsoft (Clarity) and Meta (Meta Pixel), which receive visit data from our site only if you accept analytics or marketing cookies.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a legal dispute.

7. Transfers outside Nigeria

Some of the providers above store or process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on the transfer bases allowed under the NDPA, such as the recipient country’s adequacy, contractual safeguards with the provider, or your consent, and we choose providers that apply recognised security standards.

8. How long we keep it

  • Diagnostic answers and results, and enquiries that don’t become clients: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted or kept only as anonymous totals.
  • Leak Check notes and findings: 12 months if you don’t go on to buy a Maze Map.
  • Maze Map payment records and invoices: 6 years, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
  • Read-only access to your accounts during a Maze Map: removed within 2 business days of your walkthrough unless you hire us, and we confirm the removal in writing.
  • Working files from a Maze Map audit: 24 months after delivery if you don’t hire us.
  • Analytics and advertising data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics, and for the shorter periods Microsoft and Meta apply to their own tools. You can ask us to delete it by emailing us.
  • Marketing consent: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. After that we keep only a record of the withdrawal, so we don’t contact you again.
  • Client records: for the length of the engagement and six years after it ends, to meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements.

9. Your rights

Under the NDPA you have the right to:

  • be told how your data is used (this policy);
  • get a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted where we no longer have a reason to keep it;
  • restrict how we use it while a concern is resolved;
  • receive your data in a commonly used format, or have it sent to another provider;
  • object to our use of it, including at any time to direct marketing;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it;
  • not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that significantly affects you, and ask for a person to review it.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email. To stop WhatsApp messages, reply STOP. We respond to requests within 30 days, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.

10. How we protect it

The website runs on HTTPS. Access to form submissions and client data is limited to the people who need it, on accounts protected by strong passwords. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and tell you without undue delay where the risk to you is high.

11. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).

13. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you’ve already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
