CASE STUDY · CONVERT AND ATTRACT WALLS

One in Three Visitors Registered for the Fair

MOD Education’s International Education Fair (IEF) puts Nigerian students in the room with universities from abroad, across Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. We built the fair’s landing page, ran its Meta and Google ads as one funnel, and took MOD to page one for the searches students actually make. The fair filled with students who intend to study abroad.

WHERE THEY WERE STUCK

The Fair Is Won Before the Doors Open

A fair is won or lost before the doors open. The students MOD Education wanted in the room were already researching their options online: searching for a study abroad agency, comparing destinations, asking questions on social media. What MOD needed was not more noise about the IEF; it needed a system that turned that existing interest into registrations, in three cities at once, and registrations from students who actually intend to study abroad, not crowds chasing the word “scholarship”.

WHAT WE BUILT

One Funnel, Three Cities

Everything pointed at one number: registrations. The page, the ads and the search work were built as a single system, run across Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.

01 · CONVERT

The IEF Landing Page

A dedicated page for the fair with a single job: registration. Every section pointed at the signup, and 33% of visitors registered.

02 · ATTRACT

Meta and Google Ads, Run as One Campaign

Both ad platforms managed as one funnel, with audiences, creative and budget aimed at registrations and the landing page as the destination, across all three fair cities.

03 · ATTRACT

Page One for the Searches That Matter

Page one on Google for "study abroad agency in Nigeria", "study abroad agency in Lagos" and "study abroad agency in Abuja", the searches its future students make. None of it leaned on "scholarship", so registrations came from students ready to study abroad.

THE WRITTEN GOAL

Every engagement gets one. Here’s the headline metric.

METRIC
Total registrations for the International Education Fair
BASELINE
Unknown, untracked
TARGET
12,000 registrations
DEADLINE
By the fair dates
Result: 20,000 registrations. Target beaten by 8,000. The landing page converted 33% of its visitors, and not one "scholarship" keyword was in the mix, so the registrations were students ready to study abroad.
